LDI Africa collaborates with organizations that are doing excellent work particularly in the area of investments, impact investing, and social enterprise across Africa. Partners range from mid-level to large global institutions; with capital investment of $200,000 and above. Host organizations would usually have identified an area of need, created a job description, demonstrated the capacity to absorb a new fulltime staff, and identified a clear reporting line for the Fellow. A further criteria list of EIFP host organizations is:

• Preference for mid-level professionals, graduates of MBA or Development programs
• A keen interest in sustainable development of businesses in Africa
• Demonstrable knowledge and skills in one of the following areas:
• Management/ Strategy Consulting
• Enterprise Development/ Finance
• Social Enterprise/Entrepreneurship/International Development
• Private Equity/ Venture Capital/Impact Investing
