LDI Africa Fellows are dynamic young professionals committed to lending their talent and passion to help partner organizations sustain and grow their impact.

Applicant profile for the 2013 Fellowship cohort:
- 10% current graduate students
- 35% recent graduates from the nation’s top MBA/Development programs
- 20% had direct industry expertise (i.e. impact investing, venture capital, private equity)
- 35% had experience working within emerging markets/Africa
- 100% of applicants were ready and willing to make a difference!

Consideration for coveted LDI Africa Fellowships is based largely on the following criteria:
- Preference for mid-level professionals, current or recent graduates of MBA or Development Studies program
- A keen interest in working towards the sustainable development of businesses/institutions in emerging markets, particularly in Africa

Demonstrable knowledge and skills in one of the following areas:
- Management/ Strategy Consulting
- Enterprise Development
- Finance
- Social Enterprise
- Private Equity/ Venture Capital
